Don Franks is a professor in dance education syllabi and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. Franks is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Academy of Kinesiology dance education syllabi and Physical Education (AAKPE), dance education syllabi and the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation dance education syllabi and Dance (AAHPERD).
